This application is touted as one of the most accurate visual acuity tests available on the iPad, including the iPad mini.

The inclusion of a built-in auto-calibration feature for the iPhone and iPod serves to adjust both the size of the Snellen Chart and screen brightness, ensuring precise and reproducible results.

While the iPad chart functions effectively on its own, utilizing the app with an iPhone or iPod remote—available through an in-app purchase—enhances the overall experience.

An auto-dim feature is built in, set to turn off the screen after two minutes, helping to conserve the iPad's battery life; users now have the option to adjust this timing according to their needs.

This application has been tested across all versions of the iPad, achieving a maximum chart distance of 7.4 meters (24 feet), and also with the iPad mini at a maximum distance of 6 meters (20 feet). Additionally, it is compatible with all current iPods featuring a built-in camera and most iPhones, with the exception of the iPhone 3.

Professional evaluation has been conducted by ophthalmologists, and user feedback is actively encouraged to ensure continued improvements.
